Arsenal’s Thomas Vermaelen has a reputation for being a goal-scoring defender, but it seems he’s managed to score off the pitch too.
The Belgian ace has notched an impressive 13 goals in 67 games for the Gunners, the kind of record any midfielder would be proud of never mind a centre back, but his finest effort may be bagging this little lovely.
According to the Sun, Vermaelen has hooked up with Polly Parsons, who has appeared in the BBC TV show The Real Hustle, after the 28-year-old split from her fiancé — EastEnder’s star Sid Owen.
