Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs alerted to the news that Steven N’Zonzi could be set for a summer move, according to the Sun.
The report claims that the French midfielder has failed to link up with the rest of the Blackburn Rovers squad for their pre-season training camp in Austria.
The Daily Mail suggest that manager Steve Kean told the 23-year-old to stay away after talks over the players future broke down last week, with Kean now resigned to losing the £5m-rated midfielder this summer.
N’Zonzi joined Rovers in 2009 from French second division side Amiens SC and has gone on to play 66 times in the Premier League. He was a rare positive during a disappointing 2011/12 season for Blackburn but is now set to end a 3 year stay at Ewood Park following their relegation to the championship.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo are both on the look-out for a defensive-minded midfielder and with plenty of Premier League experience, N’Zonzi may prove to be an shrewd purchase.
