Sao Paulo Deny Moura Deal Reports As Fergie Eyes £30m Move
Sao Paulo have denied reports they’ve agreed to sell Manchester United target Lucas Moura to Inter Milan, with Fergie set to launch a new £30m move for the star

Sao Paulo have denied reports they’ve reached an agreement to sell Manchester United target Lucas Moura to Inter Milan, according to the Mirror.
The highly-rated midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer after United sent a delegation to South America to negotiate a deal.
Despite lengthy negotiations, the Premier League giants were unable to agree a fee after having three bids rejected by the Brazilian outfit and reports emanating from Italy last week claimed Inter Milan had jumped in and agreed a €27 million deal for the 19-year-old.
However, vice-president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes has rejected these claims insisting no agreement has been reached with the Serie A side, confirming United are the only club they have negotiated with.
“I’m not aware of this. I was with [Sao Paulo president] Juvenal Juvencio on Wednesday and Thursday,”
“We only negotiated with Manchester United, but their offer was not good enough.”
Jesus Lopes is quoted as saying by the Mirror.
The news comes as the Daily Mail report that Sir Alex Ferguson has not given up hope of signing Moura and will resurrect talks next week where he hopes to agree a £30m deal.
