The New-Look Gunners: How Arsenal Will Line-up Next Season
A look at how Arsenal will line-up next season with the addition of new signings Santi Cazorla, Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud assuming if everyone is fit.

Everybody is fit. Form is good. Who plays? And where? A dilemma such as this was the stuff of dreams during some of Arsenal’s recent injury ravaged seasons.
One thing is for sure Arsenal only have one SONG! Nobody else does what he does. The archetypal modern midfielder wins the ball (more often than not without having to go to ground in the tackle) and his passing now matches anyone else in the team. If he stays he plays.
You don’t pay the kind of money Arsenal have for CAZORLA and not select him so he plays too. So you have one sitter and one out and out creative player. If Wenger sticks to his recent favoured formation there is only room for one more in what is basically a 4 3 3.
To begin with the final position WILL go to ARTETA. Simply because his consistency and fitness are better than the other options. That is not how it will end up though.
Arsene Wenger knows that he has a player that would balance the midfield perfectly alongside SONG and CAZORLA. He is box to box, gets goals and can win the ball back which as the world knows has not been a recent Arsenal strength. His is – Abou Diaby.
DIABY is the single most talented player at the club but also the player most likely to be that porcelain ornament falling off the mantelpiece at the slightest touch. If he stays fit Wenger will pick him. Even Wilshere would not oust a healthy in form Abou.
Moving forward then February 2013, top European opposition at The Emirates Stadium, Champions League knockout game…this is our team:
Robin? Even if he stays he’ll be unfit by then!!
