Bayern Munich Dealt Injury Blow Ahead Of Arsenal Clash

Bayern Munich have been dealt an injury blow ahead of our Champions League second leg clash on Wednesday with Sky Sports News reporting that winger Frank Ribery will miss the game.
The Frenchman is understood to have strained ligaments in his left ankle during Saturday’s 3-2 win over Fortuna Dusseldorf and Bayern Munich have confirmed on their official Twitter page that he won’t feature against Arsenal at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
While we head into the game as huge underdogs following the disastrous 3-1 loss at the Emirates in the first leg, could things be turning in our favour?! Bayern will already be without the suspended Jerome Boateng and Bastian Schweinsteiger for the game and now Ribery will also miss out, meaning three key players will be missing.
I realise the task is almost impossible, given that we need to score at least three goals to have a chance of qualifying, but we need to believe or there’s no point turning up and they will certainly be weaker without Schweiny and Ribery.
All we need is an early goal, put them under some pressure and you just never know Gooners, miracles do happen! We’re capable of scoring out in Germany, the main problem will be keeping them out at the other end!
Whatever happens, let’s try and enjoy it. We might not be hearing that Champions League music next season after all.
