Arsenal and Chelsea target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted he’s ready to leave Saint Etienne to join a ‘big’ club’ this summer before hinting he’d be keen on a move to PSG, according to the Express.
The Gabon international hitman has become one of the most highly-rated forward’s in Ligue 1 after joining Saint Etienne from AC Milan in 2010, and has scored 16 goals in 27 league games so far this season.
It seems his impressive form hasn’t gone unnoticed in England with reports claiming Arsenal and Chelsea have been monitoring his progress closely while Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley was also understood to be in the stands to watch the 23-year-old during Saint Etienne’s 2-2 draw with PSG on Sunday night.
However, while Aubameyang admitted before last nights game that he’s ready to join a ‘big club’ this summer, he cast doubt on a potential move to the Premier League by hinting he’d be keen to join PSG to link up with Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“I am ready to join a top club,” Aubameyang is quoted as saying by the Express.
“PSG? Of course an eventual offer would be interesting, but I don’t know if they are really tracking me, we’ll see.
“In any case, it would be nice to play next to Ibrahimovic.”

The Express claim Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move away from PSG in recent weeks and the big-spending French outfit may only look to Aubameyang as a potential replacement for the super-confident Swede, so there may still be hope for Arsenal and Chelsea yet.
