World Cup Star: “It would be impossible to say no to United”

Dutch talisman Wesley Sneijder has given a huge indication to his future by revealing his temptation to be lured from Serie A to Manchester United.
The 26 year old who marvelled Europe last season with Inter Milan as they completed an unprecedented treble, has been linked with a number of various moves away from the San Siro following Jose Mourinho’s departure as coach to Real Madrid. He has recently been linked with a move back to Spain only for those reports to be quashed by Sneijder himself.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s United have also been regarded as another interested party – with the Inter star giving a massive hint over a possible move to Old Trafford.
“If somebody asks me if I will ever play for Manchester United, it’s impossible for me to say no.” He said.
“How can you say that if the chance came you would not play for one of the biggest clubs in the world?”
“I don’t think there is any player in the world who could publicly rule out ever playing for Manchester United, and if they did I would doubt they were telling the truth.”
The number ten continued by giving the Premier League a glowing homage by insisting it is the strongest entity in world football in terms of club power.
“The Premier League, in terms of top clubs, is the strongest in the world, and it would be nice to finish my career saying I have played at the very top in Spain, Italy, and England.”
“There is not many who can say they have done that, and if that does happen for me I would only want it to be with Manchester United.”
The news comes off the back of a disappointing weekend for his current club who lost in the dying embers of their league clash with title rivals AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
