Arsenal linked with Salvio
First up and the Daily Star are reporting that Arsenal are lining-up a bid for £30m-rated Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio.
The Gunners have endured a frustrating summer so far having failed to make a breakthrough in their pursuits of big-money signings such as Gonzalo Higuaina and Luis Suarez. However, the Star claim Wenger may make a move for Salvio as he looks to add to his attacking options this summer but the Argentinean international is valued at around £30m by his current club Benfica.
The 23-year-old joined the Portuguese outfit on a permanent deal last summer from Atletico Madrid after impressing on loan during the 2011/12 season. He enjoyed a hugely impressive campaign last term, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists in 53 appearances to help the club reach the final of the Europa League as well as push Porto all the way in the title race.
Salvio operates mainly as a right winger but can also play on the left, so would provide Arsene Wenger with plenty of options if he did end up making the move to north London.
Spurs eye Injai
Next up and talkSPORT are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are weighing-up a move for highly-rated Inter Milan starlet Frederic Injai.
The 17-year-old started his career with Nantes and came through the esteemed Clarefontaine national academy in France before making the move to Italy at a young age.
Injai is highly regarded at Milan but is yet to make any sort of first team breakthrough and talkSPORT claim Spurs are locked in a battle with German outfit Bayer Leverkusen to land the talented midfielder this summer.
Boss Andre Villa-Boas and his scouts have been keeping a close eye on his progress and the report suggests the north Londoners will make a formal bid before the end of the week.
