Both clubs warmed up for the game with victories in the Champions League in midweek and neither manager is expected too make many changes to their teams.
Manuel Pellegrini has been boosted with the news that David Silva has returned to full training today and he’s expected to come straight into the starting line-up if he proves his fitness. Summer signing Alvaro Negredo could come in for Edin Dzeko up front while Gael Clichy is also pushing for a return after training today.
David Moyes is expected to keep faith with the majority of the eleven that beat Bayer Leverkusen in midweek. Ashley Young or Nani could come in for Shinji Kagawa on the left while Chris Smalling is likely to continue at right back with Rafael and Phil Jones still struggling for fitness.
