Boss Jose Mourinho is expected to stick with the majority of the side that beat Schalke 3-0 in midweek in the Champions League, meaning David Luiz may have to once again make do with a place among the subs as Gary Cahill plays alongside John Terry at the back.
Ryan Bertrand is injured so Ashley Cole is likely to be recalled having been left out against the Germans, with Cesar Azpilicueta dropping out. Frank Lampard was also on the bench on Wednesday but could come back in alongside Ramires in midfield, while Eden Hazard might return after being left out of the squad entirely after turning up late for training.
Juan Mata may miss out again with Andre Schurrle impressing against Schalke and Samuel Eto’o should continue to spearhead the attack after scoring a brace last time out.
