Liverpool eased into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The League One strugglers made the Reds work for their win and it took the hosts until the 54th minute to break the deadlock when Iago Aspas volleyed home Raheem Sterling’s cross for 1-0.

James Tarkowski then turned Sterling’s shot into his own net in the 82nd minute to secure the win for Liverpool and book their place in the next round.
