Jack Wilshere is one of several Arsenal players who have welcomed new signing Danny Welbeck to the club following his move from Manchester United.
Arsenal completed the signing of Welbeck from United in the early hours of Tuesday morning after working tirelessly throughout deadline day to get the deal over the line.
While neither club have disclosed the exact fee, reports suggest it’s in the region of £16m with the 23-year-old signing a five-year contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Welbeck is currently training with the rest of the England squad ahead of tomorrow nights friendly with Norway and it seems he’s already getting himself well acquainted with his new team-mates as Jack Wilshere has shared a picture on Instagram of the pair with a message reading “Big welcome to my boy Welbz….great player for a great club! Another English lad! #Gooner“
Wilshere was one of several Arsenal players to take to social media sites to react to Welbeck signing, with Mesut Ozil, Kieran Gibbs, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta also welcoming the forward to the club on Twitter.
