Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from their midweek disappointment when they entertain Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.
Brendan Rodgers has recalled a number of first team players after resting his key men for Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson come back in to the midfield while Glen Johnson and Dejan Lovren are recalled in defence. Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho and Mario Balotelli also start in attack.
Jose Mourinho has also brought back in some of his regulars after resting them in midweek. Thibaut Courtois, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta all come back in while Ramires starts in midfield in place of Willian.
Diego Costa returns up front both Loic Remy and Didier Drogba on the bench.
