Chelsea maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge last night.
The visitors started brightly but fell behind when Eden Hazard combined well with Didier Drogba before firing low past Hugo Lloris and Chelsea took control of the game three minutes later when Drogba took advantage of a poor clearance from the Spurs keeper to make it 2-0.
Substitute Loic Remy sealed the victory with a late third as Chelsea maintained their unbeaten start to the season and ensured they keep a six point lead over second-placed Manchester City in the table.
With another vital win under their belts after extending their superb home record against Spurs, it’s easy to see why the Blues players were all smiles in the dressing room after the game.
