Raheem Sterling scored a stunning second half goal to secure Liverpool a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Anfield in their Capital One Cup semi final first leg on Tuesday night.
The Blues opened the scoring inside the opening twenty minutes when Emre Can fouled Eden Hazard in the area. The Belgian dusted himself off and sent Simon Mignolet the wrong way to make it 0-1.
However, Liverpool levelled things up shortly after the break when Raheem Sterling drove at the Chelsea back line before firing home a left-footed strike in the 58th minute to make it 1-1.
Both sides had chances to find a winner but it ended all squad and now Chelsea will be the favourites due to their away goal as we head to the second leg at Stamford Bridge next week.
