See the Chelsea players celebrating in the dressing room after booking their place in the Capital One Cup final with a 2-1 aggregate victory over Liverpool.
Chelsea booked their place at Wembley with a narrow 1-0 victory over Liverpool in their Capital One Cup semi final second leg clash last night.
Having drawn 1-1 at Anfield in the first leg last week, the tie was finely poised heading into the crucial second leg at Stamford Bridge and understandably, neither side gave much away in a tense game.
Despite the game being played at a frantic pace, it went into extra time after the match finished goalless following ninety minutes of enthralling football, and Branislav Ivanovic got the all-important goal in the 94th minute to put Chelsea 2-1 ahead on aggregate.
Liverpool failed to find the equaliser that would have forced a penalty shoot-out so the Blues will now be heading to Wembley where they’ll face either Tottenham or Sheffield United in the final.
After the game, the Chelsea players celebrated in the dressing room with Didier Drogba, Willian, Oscar and Cesar Azpilicueta all uploading photos and messages to social media sites like Twitter and Instagram.
