Jose Mourinho is without Filipe Luis as the Brazilian remains out with a calf injury so Cesar Azpilicueta starts at left-back. Cesc Fabregas is also still out with a hamstring problem so Ramires starts alongside Nemanja Matic in midfield.
Gary Cahill is recalled in defence with Kurt Zouma dropping out, while Didier Drogba leads the line in place of the suspended Diego Costa. New signing Juan Cuadrado starts from the bench.
