Chelsea will be looking to bring home a positive result when they take on Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie tomorrow night.
Ahead of the game, Blues boss Jose Mourinho has announced on Chelseafc.com his 22-man squad that departed London for Paris this afternoon.
As expected, John Obi Mikel didn’t travel as the midfielder is continuing to nurse a knee injury that’s ruled him out of recent games.
Youngster Izzy Brown also missed the trip as he’s taking part in Chelsea under-18’s FA Youth Cup clash against Newcastle United tonight.
However, Oscar has been named in the squad despite the Brazilian missing last week’s 1-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge with a minor muscular injury.
Cesc Fabregas is in the squad and expected to come back into the starting eleven having come off the bench last week after recovering from a hamstring injury that saw him miss two games recently.
Diego Costa is also in the travelling party and Mourinho has confirmed the Spanish hitman will start up front after missing Chelsea’s last three games through suspension.
