Man Utd striker Radamel Falcao was back among the goals tonight as he scored a brace for Colombia during a 6-0 thrashing of Bahrain. Watch his goals here:
Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao was back among the goals tonight as he scored a brace for Colombia during a 6-0 thrashing of Bahrain.
Falcao has struggled badly at United this season following his loan move from Monaco last summer and he’s been relegated to a substitutes role by Louis van Gaal in recent weeks.
However, the United boss will be pleased to see him back on the score-sheet for his country as he bagged a double against Bahrain on Thursday.
Following an early goal from Bacca, Falcao made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute as he latched on to a ball over the top before firing a lovely left-footed finish in to the bottom corner. The opposition may not have been world class but the finish certainly was.
The hitman then made it 3-0 just minutes later as his effort took a slight deflection on it’s way into the net but it will still have been a morale boosting brace for the beleaguered striker.
I’m sure United fans will hope Falcao returns from the international break rejuvenated and ready to resurrect his career at Old Trafford. Watch his goals here:
