Manchester United and Chelsea stars Marouane Fellaini and Eden Hazard were among the goals as Belgium thrashed Cyprus 5-0 in their European Championship qualifier on Saturday evening.
Fellaini opened the scoring in the 21st minute as he turned home a left-footed strike before Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke made it 2-0 15 minutes later when he powered home a header from Hazard’s cross.
Fellaini then curled home a stunner from the edge of the area to make it 3-0 midway through the second half before Hazard got himself on the score-sheet with a well-placed right-footed finish.
Michy Batshuayi finished off the scoring as he curled home for 5-0 in the 79th minute to wrap up a comfortable win for Belgium to move them third in Group B of their qualifying group.
