Arsenal and Chelsea legends joined Liverpool players old and present as they posed for photos in the dressing room and shared messages on social media after the all-star charity match at Anfield this afternoon.
Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher captained two star-studded teams in the game that was held to raise money for Liverpool’s official charity ‘The Liverpool Foundation’.
The game finished 2-2 with Mario Balotelli and Didier Drogba putting Carracher’s XI in control before Gerrard slotted home two penalties to secure an entertaining draw.
After the game, several of the players involved have taken to social media sites to upload photos, selfies and messages.
Gerrard posed with former strikers Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres while Balotelli uploaded a snap with Arsenal and Chelsea legends Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba.
The likes of Pepe Reina, Xabi Alonso, Alvaro Arbeloa, Jose Enrique, John Arne Riise and Carragher himself have also taken to the social media sites to upload photos and reaction to the day.
