[Tweets] Chelsea Players Celebrate On Twitter After Beating Manchester United
Didier Drogba, Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill have all taken to Twitter on Saturday night to celebrate Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United.
Chelsea took a huge step closer to reclaiming the Premier League title after beating Manchester United 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
United enjoyed large amounts of possession but the Blues held firm and grabbed the only goal of the game shortly before half-time when Eden Hazard latched onto Oscar’s back-heel and raced clear to slot home through David De Gea’s legs.
The visitors pushed for an equaliser in the second half but Chelsea saw out the remainder of the game to secure a vital victory which sees them move 10 points clear of second-placed Arsenal with just six games left to play.
It means the Blues will clinch the Premier League title if they can win their next two games, including next Sunday’s clash at the Emirates, so it’s easy to see why some of the players have been celebrating online tonight.
Didier Drogba, Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill have all taken to Twitter to express their delight at their latest win which took them another step closer towards the trophy.
Check out what they had to say below….
So happy with the great win, one step closer..we'll keep on fighting!#comeonchelsea #teamspirit
