[Video Goals] Liverpool 1-1 Malaysia XI: Ibe Stunner Rescues Draw For Sloppy Reds

Liverpool were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by a Malaysia XI in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon with Jordon Ibe scoring a stunner to rescue the sloppy Reds.

The Malaysia XI started brightly and took a shock lead when Dejan Lovren failed to deal with a long ball and Patrick Ronaldinho powered his way into the box before beating Adam Bogdan with a smart finish.

Liverpool levelled things up in the 27th minute when Jordon Ibe cut in from the right before unleashing a thunderous left-footed strike into the top corner for 1-1.

Neither side could find a winner in the second half so Liverpool wrapped-up their pre-season tour of the Far East with a disappointing draw but they’ll now head to Helsinki looking to get back to winning ways next week.
