Referees Confirmed For Weekend PL Games: Oliver In Charge Of Man Utd vs Liverpool
The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all found out who’ll be refereeing their big games this coming weekend.
The refereeing line-up for this weekend’s Premier League fixtures has been announced and Michael Oliver has been chosen to take charge of the big game between Manchester United and Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers takes his side to Old Trafford on Saturday evening looking to get back to winning ways after their thumping from West Ham before the international break and the Premier League have confirmed the man in the middle will be Michael Oliver.
However, neither sets of fans seem to be too happy about the appointment as Oliver was the ref who sent off Fabio Borini during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal last season while he also dismissed United duo Chris Smalling and Angel Di Maria last term.
Other notable fixtures will see Jonathan Moss take charge of Arsenal’s clash with Stoke City at the Emirates while Andre Marriner has been selected to officiate when Everton host Chelsea at Goodison Park this weekend.
Here is a run through of all the refereeing appointments for this weekend’s Premier League games:
