Liverpool will get back to Premier League action when they take on Norwich at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side I think Brendan Rodgers will pick:
Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet is almost certain to keep his place between the sticks this weekend with Adam Bodgan as No.2.
Defence: Rodgers is set to make several changes to the side that drew 1-1 at Bordeaux on Thursday night with a host of first team names set for recalls. The Northern Irishman reverted to a 3-4-2-1 formation in midweek and we could see him stick with it on Sunday.
If he does, then Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel could join Mamadou Sakho in the back three after the Frenchman put in a superb performance in his home country. Kolo Toure is a doubt after being forced off with a dead leg on Thursday night.
Midfield: If Rodgers does play three at the back then Nathaniel Clyne and Alberto Moreno could be deployed in the wing-back roles with Lucas Leiva and James Milner in the middle of midfield.
Jordan Henderson has returned to training after travelling to America for treatment on his heel injury but the skipper may be deemed fit enough for a place on the bench.
Attack: Christian Benteke was rested last night so the striker is set to be recalled up front with Philippe Coutinho joining him in attack. Adam Lallana scored a fine goal against Bordeaux but Roberto Firmino could get the nod ahead of the England international.
Daniel Sturridge is back in full training after hip surgery and could be named in the squad with the striker hoping to get 20 minutes under his belt.
Here is how I think we’ll see Liverpool line-up:
What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
