[Video Highlights] Liverpool 1-0 Swansea: Milner Goal Sends Reds Sixth

James Milner scored a second half winner as Liverpool beat Swansea City 1-0 at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

After a goalless first forty-five minutes, the Reds finally broke the deadlock after Jordon Ibe’s cross struck the arm of Neil Taylor in the box – Milner stepped up to cooly slot home the resulting spot kick in the 62nd minute.

The Swans pushed for an equaliser during the closing stages of the game but Liverpool managed to hold on to secure a vital three points which was Jurgen Klopp’s first home league win since replacing Brendan Rodgers back in October.

The victory sees the Merseysiders climb to sixth in the Premier League table and just four points off fourth-placed Arsenal.
