Divock Origi struck seven minutes into injury time to rescue a point as Liverpool drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion at Anfield this afternoon.
The Merseysiders opened the scoring in the 21st minute when fit-again Jordan Henderson swept home after some fine set-up play from Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.
Just minutes later, the visitors grabbed an equaliser out of nothing thanks to an error from Simon Mignolet, with Craig Dawson on hand to tuck home from close range for 1-1 in the 30th minute.
West Brom thought they’d taken the lead on the stroke of half time but Jonas Olsson’s effort was ruled out for offside before the Swede did get himself on the scoresheet with a fine glancing header in the 73rd minute.
The Midlanders looked to be closing in on a famous win at Anfield, however, Liverpool levelled things up deep into injury time when Origi’s long-range strike deflected past Myhill and into the net to salvage a 2-2 draw.
