Liverpool versus Aston Villa and Manchester United versus Arsenal are just two of the marquee games that have been chosen to be aired live on TV this coming February….
The latest batch of Premier League fixtures to be shown live on UK television have been released by Sky Sports and BT Sport this morning and as usual we have some mouth-watering matches to look forward to.
West Ham kick things off as they entertain Aston Villa on Tuesday 2nd while Chelsea’s trip to Watford the following evening will also be broadcast live on TV with both games being shown on BT Sport.
Newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth then play host to Arsenal on Sunday 7th before Chelsea entertain Manchester United at Stamford Bridge with those games being shown on Sky Sports as part of ‘Super Sunday’.
United’s trip to Sunderland the following Saturday will also be broadcast live on TV in BT Sport’s 12.45pm slot while Chelsea’s home clash with Newcastle will be on Sky Sports later that evening.
Aston Villa then entertain Liverpool at Villa Park on Sunday 14th before Manchester City play host to Tottenham with both games being shown live on Sky Sports.
Things then get a little complicated on Sunday 28th. As it stands, Newcastle v Man City will be shown live on Sky Sports at 12pm but should City reach the final of the Capital One Cup, then this game will be postponed and Sky will shown Everton versus Liverpool instead. However, that match will also be postponed if the Reds reach the League Cup final at Wembley.
One match that’s certain to go-ahead as planned is Manchester United v Arsenal and that game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports at 2.05pm.
