Here are player ratings from Gooner Mac:
Cech 7/10 | Missed out on the Premier League clean sheet record after being beaten by a stunner. Made some routine saves.
Bellerin 7/10 | Solid at the back and a danger going forward. Another fine display from the young Spaniard.
Mertesacker 8.5/10 | Excellent performance from the big man. Kept City at bay with several fine interceptions and was a rock at the back.
Koscielny 7.5/10 | Caught out of position a couple of times but got away with it and was otherwise superb.
Monreal 6.5/10 | De Bruyne gave him problems but Monreal eventually found a way to keep him quiet.
Ramsey 6/10 | A very wasteful display from Ramsey as he squandered two great chances to put the game to bed.
Flamini 7/10 | Very efficient in front of the back four and did well to keep Silva quiet.
Walcott 8/10 | Stunning strike to open the scoring and was a constant threat on the break with his pace.
Özil 8.5/10 | Another two assists for the machine that is Mesut Ozil. The assist for Giroud in particular was perfectly weighted.
Campbell 7/10 | Put a good shift in to help protect Bellerin and almost got himself on the score-sheet.
Giroud 7.5/10 | Excellent finish to put us two-up and his hold-up play was superb. A real team player.
