Arsenal moved to the top of the Premier League thanks to a comfortable 2-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth at the Emirates this evening.
Mesut Ozil set-up Gabriel for the opener before the German added a second after the break to secure the three points that sees us move to the top of the table.
Here are my player ratings from the game:
Cech 7/10 | Had very little to do for the majority of the game but made a few solid saves when called upon to seal a record breaking clean sheet.
Bellerin 7/10 | Solid at the back and always a threat going forward but his final ball was disappointing.
Gabriel 8/10 | A rock at the back and a huge threat in the opposition penalty box. Got his first goal for the club with a fine header and hit the post soon after with another header.
Mertesacker 7/10 | Recovered from his poor display at Southampton with a solid outing this evening.
Gibbs 6/10 | Didn’t really do anything wrong but also didn’t do enough to show he deserves to oust Monreal from the left-back spot.
Chambers 7/10 | Made a couple of silly errors and his passing was a little below par at times but still an encouraging display in an unfamiliar role.
Ramsey 7/10 | Curbed his enthusiasm to get forward in order to help Chambers out. Still put in an energetic display.
Oxlade-Chamberlain 7/10 | Full of energy and got himself in to some promising positions but final ball was poor.
Ozil 9/10 | Sensational performance. Got one assist but could have had a hat-full as he created an incredible 9 chances. Also chipped in with a well taken goal.
Walcott 7/10 | His pace and movement caused plenty of problems but his finishing was a bit wayward.
Giroud 7/10 | Stunning flick to set-up Ozil but otherwise he was frustrating as he missed a couple of chances.

So thankfully we bounced back with a routine win to go top of the table ahead of the big game between Leicester and Manchester City tomorrow night. Let’s hope for a draw and strengthen our position at the top with a win over Newcastle.
