Arsenal came from behind to beat Sunderland 3-1 at the Emirates this afternoon and book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The visitors took advantage of some poor defending from Gibbs and Koscielny to take an early lead but we hit back through a lovely finish from Joel Campbell before second half goals from Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud secured the win.
Here are my ratings from the game:
Cech 7/10 | Was taken surprise for their goal but was otherwise comfortable. Made a great stop to deny Fletcher late on.
Bellerin 8.5/10 | Superb. Set up Ramsey and Giroud for their goals with excellent balls and was a huge threat down the right. Such a talent for a 20-year-old.
Gabriel 7/10 | Steady display from the Brazilian.
Koscielny 6/10 | A rare error from the usually reliable Koscielny led to the opening goal. Recovered well and made some important interceptions.
Gibbs 6/10 | Put Koscielny in trouble with a poor pass but was otherwise solid and got forward whenever he could.
Chambers 7/10 | Another decent outing in an unfamiliar central midfield role. Broke up play and kept his passing simple.
Oxlade-Chamberlain 7/10 | Saw a lot of the ball but once again his final ball was lacking at times. Almost scored as he hit the post with an excellent effort from the edge of the area.
Iwobi 7/10 | Impressive shift from the youngster. Showed a good passing range and wasn’t afraid to take players on. Tired in the second half.
Walcott 6.5/10 | Wasted a couple of good opportunities to get himself on the score-sheet but he did set-up the Campbell goal.
Campbell 8.5/10 | Continued to build his reputation with another excellent performance. Was always a threat and popped up with a vital goal. Also played a key role in the second goal with a superb pass to Bellerin.
Giroud 7/10 | His hard work was rewarded with a second half goal. Could possibly have had another too.
Subs:
Ramsey 7.5/10 | Added some energy to the midfield and scored the vial second goal.
Arteta 6/10 | Kept things simple in the middle of the park.

We were slow out the blocks but improved after the break and could have scored at least five in the end, but the important thing is we’re in the hat for the fourth round draw. Liverpool away in the Premier League up next on Wednesday night….
