[Tweets & Photos] Man Utd Players Celebrate On Twitter After Beating Liverpool

The Manchester United players have been celebrating online after beating Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Wayne Rooney got the only goal of the game as the England international was on hand to fire home after Marouane Fellaini saw his header come back off the bar in the 78th minute.

The win sees United climb up to fifth in the Premier League table and they’re now just two points off fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and seven adrift of leaders Arsenal with 16 games left to play.

After the game, several of the United squad have taken to Twitter to celebrate what was a crucial win with Matteo Darmian, David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Memphis Depay, Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Ashley Young, Daley Blind and Morgan Schneiderlin all posting messages and photos.

Phil Jones, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick all missed the game through injury but the trio have also taken to Twitter to congratulate their team-mates on securing a win over their North-West rivals.
