Mohamed Elneny and Mesut Ozil are among the players who’ve been reacting online after Arsenal beat Burnley in the FA Cup this afternoon.
Some of the Arsenal squad have been reacting online after booking their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Burnley at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
Calum Chambers put us ahead with a superb strike before Sam Vokes equalised in the 30th minute thanks to a fine header. However, Alexis Sanchez fired home the eventual winner shortly after half-time following a slick move.
New signing Mohamed Elneny made his debut in midfield and the Egyptian international has taken to Twitter to thank the fans for their support while Chambers also posted a message saying he’s ‘absolutely buzzing’ to have got on the scoresheet.
Aaron Ramsey – who was rested for the game today – congratulated his team mates on a job well done while Alex Iwobi and Laurent Koscielny also posted messages on the social micro-blogging site.
