Some of the Arsenal players have reacted on Twitter after we threw away a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with West Ham at Upton Park this afternoon.
Alex Iwobi was central to our good play as he set-up the opening two goals for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez as we raced in to a 2-0 lead by the 35th minute.
However, a quick-fire double from Andy Carroll just before half-time drew West Ham level before the striker completed his hat-trick shortly after the break to put the hosts ahead for the first time in the game.
Laurent Koscielny made it 3-3 in the 70th minute thanks to a fine close range finish but we couldn’t find the winner we desperately needed during the final 20 minutes so we had to settle for a point.
The draw leaves us trailing league leaders Leicester City by ten points with just six games remaining so as it stands it looks as though our Premier League title hopes are over for another year.
After the game, Ozil has taken to Twitter to have his say on a ‘crazy’ game while Mohamed Elneny insists we need to be strong until the final game of the season. Youngster Iwobi also took to the social media site to simply say he still has a lot to learn, despite him putting in an excellent performance today.
Check out what the boys have been saying below:
What a crazy match – for us it's a pity that we didn't win …But a point vs. #WHU is better than nothing. #WHUvAFC pic.twitter.com/d6Lztwepsw
