[Tweets & Photos] Tottenham Players Celebrate On Twitter After Thrashing Man Utd

Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players have taken to Twitter to celebrate after the North Londoners thrashed Manchester United 3-0 at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

After a goalless opening forth-five minutes, Spurs finally broke the deadlock in the 70th minute as Dele Alli swept home after being teed-up by Christian Eriksen before Toby Alderweireld headed home the second in the 74th minute to make it 2-0.

Just two minutes later, Tottenham wrapped-up the three points as Erik Lamela fired past David De Gea to cap a frantic six minutes that saw Spurs blow United away with three quick-fire goals.

The win sees Mauricio Pochettino’s men maintain their Premier League title hopes as they kept in touch with leaders Leicester City after seeing the Foxes beat Sunderland earlier in the day.

After the game, some of the Tottenham players have taken to Twitter to celebrate the big win with goal-scorer Alderweireld being joined by Mousa Dembele, Eric Dier and Harry Kane in reacting to the victory.
