Arsenal vs West Brom Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Predicted Score
Arsenal take on West Brom at the Emirates this evening. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score for the game
Arsenal will be looking to reclaim third place in the Premier League table when we take on West Bromwich Albion at the Emirates this evening.
Sunday’s hugely frustrating 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace saw us slip to fourth place and our lead over fifth-placed Manchester United was cut to just a single point following their win over the same opposition last night.
Arsene Wenger will hopefully be demanding a response from his players as failure to secure all three points this evening will leave us in real danger of missing out on Champions League football next season.
However, a win would see us climb above Manchester City in to third spot and cut Tottenham’s advantage to five points with four games to play, so we could still be in with a chance a finishing above our North London rivals.
Despite not winning any of their last four matches, West Brom arrive at the Emirates sitting fourteenth in the table on 40 points so they have little left to play for with their top flight status secured for another season.

Team news
Jack Wilshere continued to build on his match fitness with a goal-scoring display for the under-21’s on Monday but the midfielder is unlikely to be risked with the first team just yet.
Santi Cazorla is also back in full training after recovering from an Achilles injury while Tomas Rosicky is close to full fitness after recovering from a thigh problem but neither player is available for selection tonight.
We don’t have any fresh injury problems to deal with so Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains our only significant absentee with the midfielder still nursing a knee injury.
West Brom will assess a number of players ahead of the game with Alex Pritchard set to return to the squad after recovering from an ankle injury, but James Morrison and Chris Brunt remain out.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Arsenal 2-0 West Brom: We were well below our best on Sunday so the players are going to have to up the intensity tonight if we’re to collect all three points. Tony Pulis has never even taken a point away from the Emirates in his seven visits as manager so hopefully that run will be extended tonight.
Betting Tips
Arsenal are the 2/7 favourites to win the game but Football-Talk can get you enhanced odds of 4/1 on a home win – just click here to take advantage of these crazy odds. My prediction of 2-0 is on offer at 5/1 while I also like the look of Danny Welbeck to open the scoring at 14/5. If we combined those two bets in a score-cast then we get very tempting odds of 10/1.
