[Video Goals] Arsenal 2-0 West Brom: Sanchez Brace Sends Gunners Third

Alexis Sanchez scored both goals as Arsenal reclaimed third place in the Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 victory over West Brom on Thursday night.

Despite a subdued atmosphere in a half-full Emirates, the Gunners started brightly and broke the deadlock after just six minutes when Alexis Sanchez span Sandro with a lovely turn before firing home in to the bottom corner from 20-yards.

The Chilean international continued to cause the visitors plenty of problems and he eventually got the vital second goal just before the break after curling home a smart free-kick in the 38th minute to give Ben Foster no chance.

We created plenty of chances in the second half but couldn’t find the elusive third goal so the game finished 2-0 which sees us climb above Manchester City into third place in the table and to within five points of Tottenham.
