Several Arsenal players have been celebrating on social media after beating Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock with a fine header before we were made to pay for not putting the game to bed when Jermaine Defoe scored from the penalty spot with the hosts first shot on target.
Olivier Giroud came off the bench to restore our lead with a volley and flicked home a header to make it 3-1 before Sanchez completed the scoring from close range in the 78th minute making it 3 goals in just seven minutes.
The victory saw us briefly occupy top spot in the Premier League table but Manchester City moved back to the summit on goal difference after beating West Bromwich Albion 4-0 at the Hawthorns later in the day.
Some of the players have now been reacting on social media sites with Shkodran Mustafi posting a photo and message on Instagram saying he was relieved we managed to secure a huge three points.
Mohamed Elneny, Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Hector Bellerin have also posted messages to their followers on Twitter expressing their delight as we extended our unbeaten run to 14 games in all competitions.
Check out what the boys have been up to:
