Manchester United will look to book their place in the last four of the Europa League when they welcome Anderlecht to Old Trafford tomorrow night.
Here is the team I think Jose Mourinho will pick for the game:
Goalkeeper: David De Gea was recalled for Sunday’s impressive win over Chelsea but Mourinho confirmed at his press conference this afternoon that Sergio Romero will return in goal after starting in the previous rounds of the Europa League.
Defence: Mourinho has limited options in the middle of his defence as Phil Jones is still out with a foot injury while Chris Smalling is also unavailable due to a knee injury so Eric Bailly will continue alongside Marcos Rojo.
Antonio Valencia should retain his place at right-back and while the likes of Luke Shaw and Daley Blind are pushing for recalls, Matteo Darmian could keep his place at left-back.
Midfield: Ander Herrera didn’t start in the first leg in Belgium last week but he was outstanding in keeping Eden Hazard quiet on Sunday and he’s almost certain to keep his place tomorrow night.
Michael Carrick could get a recall after being a substitute against Chelsea which would see Marouane Fellaini drop out as Paul Pogba is likely to keep his place in midfield.
Attack: Wayne Rooney will be given a late test to see if he’s ready to return to the squad but Mourinho says the best he can hope for is a place on the substitutes bench.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to return up front after being rested at the weekend but Marcus Rashford will hope to retain his place after putting in an excellent display against the Blues.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to be recalled in attack while it seems Anthony Martial will miss out after Mourinho criticised the Frenchman at his press conference today. Jesse Lingard and Ashley Young could lose their places and drop to the bench but Juan Mata has been ruled out for the rest of the season following groin surgery.
Here is how we think United will line-up:
