Liverpool will be looking to cement their position in the top four when they take on Southampton at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet didn’t put a foot wrong during the narrow win at Watford on Monday night so I see no reason why Klopp will change his goalkeeper on Sunday. Therefore, I expect Loris Karius will remain on the bench with the Belgian international between the sticks.
Defence: Liverpool have no fresh injury concerns in defence so I think we’ll see Klopp field his preferred back four with Joel Matip once again starting alongside Dejan Lovren in the middle of the defence.
Nathaniel Clyne should occupy the right-back berth with James Milner continuing in the left-back position ahead of the out-of-favour Alberto Moreno.
Midfield: Adam Lallana is back in contention for a starting spot after making a successful return off the bench last time out having recovered from a thigh injury that kept him out for over a month.
Emre Can is almost certain to keep his place after scoring a sensational overhead kick to secure the three points at Watford while Gini Wijnaldum should also retain his spot.
Therefore, it could be Lucas Leiva who makes way while Jordan Henderson is still no closer to returning to action from a niggling foot injury.
Attack: Philippe Coutinho was back in training today and is expected to be passed fit to start despite limping out of the Watford game with a dead leg.
Daniel Sturridge is pushing for a rare start after making his comeback from a hip problem but Divock Origi is favourite to lead the line up front while Roberto Firmino should continue on the right in place of the injured Sadio Mane.
Here is how we think Liverpool will line up:
