Referee Appointments Confirmed For Chelsea vs Arsenal, Man Utd vs Everton
The Premier League have announced the match officials for this weekend including the big matches between Chelsea and Arsenal and Man Utd and Everton.
The Premier League have announced the match officials for the upcoming round of league games this weekend including the big matches between Chelsea and Arsenal and Manchester United and Everton.
Chelsea have bounced back from a disappointing opening defeat to secure three consecutive wins so Antonio Conte will be hoping to continue their surge up the table when they entertain London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
The Gunners head to Stamford Bridge having responded to back-to-back defeats at Stoke and Liverpool with a comfortable win at home to Bournemouth so Arsene Wenger will be desperate to secure a positive result against the Blues.
However, Arsenal fans have been left unimpressed by the decision to appoint Michael Oliver as the match official for the game as the Gunners have a dire record with him in charge [just 21% win ratio].
This weekend’s other big game see’s Manchester United host Everton at Old Trafford and referee Andre Marriner will be the man in charge on Sunday afternoon.
Everton have endured a disappointing start to the new season but it’s not going to get any easier as they face a United side that sit top of the table after taking ten points from their opening four games.
Elsewhere, Roger East will oversee Liverpool’s clash with Burnley at Anfield while Mike Dean takes charge of Tottenham’s game with Swansea City at Wembley.
