[Video Goals] Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea: Lingard Scores Winner As Utd Sink Blues

Jesse Lingard came off the bench to score the winner as Manchester United came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Chelsea started brightly and after hitting the bar early on, the visitors opened the scoring as Willian raced clear to fire past David De Gea at his near post for 0-1 in the 32nd minute.

United levelled things up minutes later as Romelu Lukaku cooly slotted home from 6 yards in the 39 minute following a near move involving Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial.

Lingard then came off the bench to grab a priceless winner in the second half as the attacking midfielder headed home from a superb Lukaku cross in the 75th minute.

Chelsea couldn’t find a late equaliser so United held on to claim a hard fought win that moves them back up to second in the table and six points clear of fifth-placed Chelsea.
