Kenny Dalglish secured his first win since returning to the Anfield hot-seat with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Wolves. Liverpool took the lead shortly before the break, Meireles breaking the offside trap to run clear and square for Torres to tap home for 0-1. Liverpool then doubled their lead and what a goal it was. Kuyt knocked down to Meireles 25 yards out, and the midfielder volleyed home into the top corner giving Hennessey no chance.
