Liverpool will be looking to take control of their Champions League quarter-final with Manchester City when they meet for the first leg at Anfield tomorrow night.
Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: Loris Karius is expected to keep his place between the sticks with Simon Mignolet once again on the bench.
Defence: Liverpool have been hit by a major injury blow with the news that Joel Matip has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a thigh problem that he picked up at the weekend.
Joe Gomez is also still out with an ankle injury that he suffered while away on international duty with England and Ragnar Klavan is still missing so Dejan Lovren will start alongside Virgil van Dijk in defence.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected keep his place at right-back with Nathaniel Clyne still working his way back to full fitness while Andrew Robertson will start ahead of Alberto Moreno at left-back.
Midfield: Emre Can missed the 2-1 comeback victory over Crystal Palace with a back injury and is a major doubt to face City so James Milner could keep his place in midfield.
Jordan Henderson is expected to be retained but we could see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain recalled in midfield with Georgino Wijnaldum the man to make way.

Adam Lallana has been ruled out for a few weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury at Selhurst Park on Saturday but Klopp is hopeful the midfielder will play again this season.
Attack: This is a huge night for Liverpool’s attack as they need to secure a first leg victory at Anfield and Klopp will obviously stick with his first choice front three against City tomorrow.
Mohamed Salah continued his sensational form with another goal against Palace and Liverpool will be looking to the Egyptian international for inspiration against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Sadio Mane was also among the goals at the weekend and the Senegal star should once again support Roberto Firmino in attack with the likes of Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings on the bench.
Here is how we think Liverpool will line up:
