[Video Goals] Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth: Salah On Target As Reds Close On 2nd Spot

Mohamed Salah was once again on target as Liverpool eased to a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield this evening.

Liverpool made the perfect start as Sadio Mane pounced to poke home his 17th goal of the season after his initial header was saved by Asmir Begovic in the 7th minute.

The visitors held their own and the Reds had to wait until midway through the second half to double their advantage and it was that man Salah who was on target in the 69th minute.

The Egyptian international latched on to a lovely ball from Trent Alexander-Arnold to lift a superb looping header over Begovic for his 30th league goal of what’s been a sensational campaign.

Liverpool wrapped-up another impressive 3-0 victory in injury time as Roberto Firmino got in on the act with a lovely low finish in the 91st minute.

The victory sees Liverpool open up a three-point advantage over fourth-placed Tottenham while they also moved to within just one point of second-placed Manchester United.
