Maurizio Sarri has recalled Mateo Kovacic to the starting eleven as the Croatian international lines-up in midfield alongside Jorginho and N’Golo Kante with Ross Barkley dropping to the bench. The back four lines-up as expected with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso all keeping their places.
Alvaro Morata is given the nod ahead of Olivier Giroud up front and the Spaniard is supported by Eden Hazard and Willian with Pedro named among the substitutes along with Cesc Fabregas.
As for Man Utd, Alexis Sanchez is only named on the bench as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are preferred in attack alongside Romelu Lukaku while Juan Mata also gets a start with Fred missing out.
Ashley Young starts at right-back while Victor Lindelof comes back in to partner Chris Smalling at centre-back. Luke Shaw and Nemanja Matic are passed fit after recovering from knocks.
