‘Best In EPL’, ’10 Year Contract’ – Some Fans Praise Arsenal Star After Latest Win

Arsenal fans have been praising Lucas Torreira following his Man of the Match performance during the 1-0 victory over Huddersfield on Saturday.

Some Arsenal fans have been praising Lucas Torreira on social media following his latest Man of the Match performance during the 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

Torreira has proven to be an excellent signing since arriving at the Emirates in a £26m deal from Sampdoria in the summer and he’s already become a real fan favourite among the supporters for his all-action displays.

The 22-year-old has added some much-needed steel to our midfield but he’s also been a threat in the final third as he scored the fourth goal during the win over Tottenham last weekend and was the match-winner against Huddersfield this afternoon.

The visitors frustrated us for long periods with their tough tackling and time wasting and it looked like we may be held to a disappointing 0-0 draw before Torreira capped another superb overall performance with a stunning overhead kick in the 83rd minute.

It turned out to be the winning goal to extend our unbeaten run to 21 games in all competitions and the win saw us move back in to the top four of the league ahead of Chelsea and Tottenham’s games this evening.

Fans were quick to jump on social media to praise Torreira after the game with supporters calling him a ‘legend’, ‘signing of the season’ and one fan even suggested he’ll get a Torreira tattoo on his face!

Another supporter says the Uruguayan international is the best defensive midfielder in the ELP right now while another suggested we hand him a new contract before the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona come calling.
