Unai Emery has recalled Mesut Ozil to the starting eleven with the German playmaker supporting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in attack. Alex Iwobi makes way as does Aaron Ramsey with Matteo Guendouzi recalled.
Mohamed Elneny also makes a rare start in midfield with Granit Xhaka given a rest while Stephan Lichtsteiner starts at right-back in place of Ainsley Maitland-Niles – who’s not named in the matchday squad.
