Arsenal will be looking to reclaim third place in the Premier League table with a win over Everton at Goodison Park this afternoon.
Unai Emery is without Laurent Koscielny as he continues to miss out with a foot injury so Shkodran Mustafi keeps his place alongside Sokratis and Nacho Monreal in the back three. Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac once again line-up in the wing-back positions.
Granit Xhaka hasn’t made the trip to Merseyside due to a groin problem that kept him out of the Newcastle game last Monday while Lucas Torreira is suspended. Aaron Ramsey is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench due to a minor groin injury so Mohamed Elneny comes in alongside Matteo Guendouzi in midfield.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan replaces Alex Iwobi in the Arsenal attack while Mesut Ozil starts his first away game of 2019. The due support Alexandre Lacazette so Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang must make-do with a place on the bench once again.
As for Everton, former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is only a substitute as Bernard and Richarlison are preferred in attack while Jordan Pickford keeps his place in goal following a controversial week.
