Liverpool have been told they can sign Ousmane Dembele for £90m this summer and the Barcelona attacker is keen on making a move to Anfield, according to TeamTalk.
Dembele earned a reputation as one of the most exciting young players in world football during his time at Borussia Dortmund before earning a big-money move to Barcelona in the summer of 2017.
Despite enduring a tough time with injuries over the past two years, the French international has still managed to provide 18 goals and 17 assists in his 65 appearances for the Catalans to help win back-to-back La Liga titles.
However, Dembele’s future at the Nou Camp is in doubt as Barcelona are still expected to complete the signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid while there has been speculation linking Neymar with a sensational return to the Catalan giants.
Barca have also splashed out on Frenkie de Jong and are being linked with Matthijs de Ligt so TeamTalk claim they need to balance the books and have now reached out to Liverpool via an intermediary agent to offer them the chance to sign Dembele this summer.
Jurgen Klopp is a known admirer of the Frenchman’s and the report says Dembele remains a key target for the Liverpool boss so he may be tempted to try and lure him to Anfield if he’s on the market.
TeamTalk says Liverpool are one of Dembele’s preferred destinations if he does leave Barcelona but but a deal won’t be cheap as the report says the Spaniards will demand around £90m for his signature.
Liverpool only need to make minor changes to their Champions League winning squad and they could do with more competition on the wings to compete with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane next season.

Obviously Dembele would be a sensational signing for the Reds if they could pull it off but it remains to be seen whether the clubs owners will be prepared to break their transfer record to sign another winger who might not even strengthen their starting eleven.
